LOVING YOURSELF AND LOVING OTHERS

MIRACLES

The mere existence of love is miraculous. Love is unpredictable and is the basis of al human relationships. The word miracle comes from the Latin root “mirare: to behold with wrap attention.”

Love is to embrace another completely in your awareness. Looking at each other with wonder in their eyes, existing in their universe, in an intense experience of wrap attention.

TRUE LOVE

The key to true love is the expanded awareness of our true Self. The source of love is pure consciousness. It is a miracle we are here at this moment, in this miraculous journey. We are each a miracle in our own right.

Lao Tzu wrote: “Because one believes in oneself, one does not try to convince others. Because one is content with oneself, one does not need others approval”.

As we open up our hearts to ourselves, we set up the stage for attracting loving relationships in our lives.

When we start to feel acceptance and the joy of being who we are, we relate to others in a new way.

WHY WE DONT LOVE?

Our capacity to love and celebrate others is connected directly to our ability to love ourselves. We cannot love others if we don’t value ourselves because we judge others as we judge ourselves. We are afraid to be vulnerable and rejected, and we are no able to give the freedom to love us or not. Because we are conditioned by past experiences, programs, and images, we only see our idealization, expectation, willfulness, pride, and the fear of failing.

As long as we want to force, please or avoid conflict, we disconnect from ourselves, and we try to get from them what we lack. What we call love then is an attempt to force others to give to us. We are in constant fear, and feeling insecure because we know this is not possible. We need to expand our consciousness, the images, the programs.

WE ARE PERFECT AS WE ARE

Our essential nature is love, and when we open to this reality, it transforms our relationships. Its unbound awareness of our self-worth. We are not a self-improving project. There is nothing to perfect; our true Self cannot be broken, perfected, or lost. We are pure spirit, love, and potential. We need to let go of the struggle and begin to open to the awareness o who we really are. Wholly loving and lovable just the way we are.

We must become the One to find the One. Then it is natural because by the love we feel for ourselves we attract lasting, safe, loving relationships. Miracles only seem extraordinary cause we don’t pay attention to our lives. The miracle happens when we start to see ourselves with acceptance, love, and appreciation. Stop the judgment and the expectation of something from the outside.

THE CENTER, THE OBSERVER

The awareness, the Observer is beyond any identification. The Experiencer has always been there; has never left or changed. Its always there waiting for the connection to become our true Self. Being in the Center, in the awareness, in the Observer, the Experiencer is being int he True Self and this is the path that takes us to the experience of creativity, love, and wisdom. The true Self is fully awake and not distracted with expectation and idealization. We realize we are the unbounded changeless Self, and we see the miracles when we begin to notice the Grace that guides us every day.
